Mission
- Design Release & Execution: Lead component and assembly-level design release using 3D CAD software (UG NX / Teamcenter) across seating subsystems (Seat Structures, Seat Plastics, Headrests, Armrests, and JIT assemblies) .
- Value Optimization (VO) & Cost Reduction: Identify cost, weight, and investment (C/W/I) optimization opportunities to maximize system efficiency .
- Testing & Comfort Validation: Establish DVP&R; and DFMEA plans to validate seat comfort, safety, durability,
and functional performance .
- Supplier & Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Tier-1 suppliers, studio designers, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to ensure proper fit, form, and function .
