Role Description The Voluntee role is a full-time, in office position located in the Greater Surat Area. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the planning and execution of community programs, coordinating with local partners, and assisting in organizing events and activities. The role involves interacting with community members, maintaining basic records or reports related to ongoing initiatives, and helping ensure that projects run smoothly and on schedule.

The Voluntee team member may also contribute to outreach efforts, such as sharing information about programs, gathering feedback,



and identifying opportunities to expand services. This role is well-suited for individuals who are comfortable working in person, enjoy collaborating with diverse groups, and are committed to community development.

Qualifications

- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with community members, colleagues, and partners in spoken and written English or local languages.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to support multiple activities, events, and projects simultaneously.
- Comfort working on-site in the Greater Surat Area, including attending local meetings, events, and field activities as needed.
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and a positive attitude toward collaborative, community-focused work.
- Basic proficiency with common office tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and documents) for scheduling, reporting, and coordination.
- Ability to work effectively with people from different backgrounds and uphold inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
- Prior experience in volunteering, community service, or social impact initiatives is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Relevant education or training in social work, community development, humanities, or a related field is an advantage.
