About the role

We are hiring a Software Engineer Intern for a 3-month, paid internship. You will work with our engineering team to build and improve web products for founders and early-stage ventures. You will contribute to real projects, write production code and receive regular code reviews and guidance from experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end features for web applications
- Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services
- Write clean, readable and well-documented code
- Help build prototypes and MVPs quickly, based on feedback from the team and founders
- Test features, identify bugs and fix them
- Take part in code reviews, sprint planning and team discussions
- Use Git for version control and follow team development practices

Qualifications

- Enrolled in, or recently completed, a degree or diploma program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and at least one framework such as React




- Familiarity with a back-end language such as Node.js or Python
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, REST APIs and basic database concepts (SQL or NoSQL)
- Experience with Git and GitHub
- Good problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred (not required)

- Personal, academic or open-source projects you can share (GitHub link or live demo)
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Vercel or Firebase
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Next.js or Tailwind CSS
- Basic understanding of testing and debugging practices

Compensation and perks

- Monthly stipend of ₹32,000 to ₹40,000, determined by skills and experience
- Mentorship and code review from the engineering team
- Experience working on live products
- Internship completion certificate
- Letter of recommendation, subject to satisfactory performance
