Role Description The Senior Hardware Engineer – EV Charger is a full-time, in office role based in Noida, India. This role is responsible for designing and developing hardware for DC fast EV chargers, including circuit design, component selection, and system integration. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory standards, and will participate in prototyping, testing, validation, and iterative improvement of charger hardware.

Daily tasks include reviewing schematics and PCB layouts, analyzing hardware performance data, troubleshooting issues, and supporting manufacturing and field deployment. The role also involves documentation of designs, contributing to design reviews, and working closely with software, operations, and service teams to deliver robust, scalable charger solutions.





Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Hardware Development and Hardware engineering for power electronics or EV charging systems.
- Advanced Circuit Design skills, including analog and digital circuits, power conversion, and protection circuitry.
- Proficiency in Electronics Hardware Design, including schematic capture, PCB design tools, and component selection.
- Solid understanding of Computer Hardware interfaces and embedded systems used in charger control and communication.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with standards and certifications relevant to EV chargers, power electronics, and electrical safety.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, multimeters) and hardware validation processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to document and communicate technical decisions clearly.
- Experience in EV charging, renewable energy, or industrial power systems is highly beneficial.
