Role Description The Manager of UV Coating Line and Thermal Glass Coating will oversee the daily operations of UV and thermal coating lines for glass products in an in office role based in Surat. This full-time position includes planning and supervising production schedules, monitoring coating quality, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards. The role involves coordinating with technicians and operators, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and optimizing workflow to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

The manager will also be responsible for maintaining preventive maintenance plans, documenting process parameters,



and collaborating with management on process upgrades and new product trials. Regular communication with internal stakeholders regarding production status, quality metrics, and resource requirements is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

- Experience managing UV coating lines and thermal glass coating processes, including setup, operation, and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of industrial coating equipment, glass handling systems, and basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting.
- Background in production or manufacturing management, with skills in planning, workflow organization, and team supervision.
- Understanding of quality control methods, surface inspection techniques, and documentation of process parameters and results.
- Awareness of occupational safety, environmental compliance, and best practices in industrial hygiene within a coating or glass facility.
- Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, train staff on procedures, and implement standard operating practices.
- Relevant technical qualification such as a diploma or degree in engineering, materials science, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in glass manufacturing, coatings, or related industries will be considered an advantage.
