Head of Trading / CIO – Global Trading Desk

Build & Lead the Trading Desk:

Take end-to-end ownership of setting up and running Pracias’ global trading desk, including trading strategy, team structure, processes, systems, risk management, and day-to-day operations.

Alpha Generation & Fund Performance:

Take primary ownership of generating consistent, risk-adjusted alpha and delivering strong ROI / IRR / APY for the fund and its investors. Develop and continuously refine trading strategies, capital-allocation frameworks, and portfolio construction approaches to maximise returns while maintaining appropriate risk parameters.

Trading Strategy & Execution:

Define and implement a transparent trading methodology across strategies, with strong emphasis on trade setups, position sizing, entry/exit frameworks, execution discipline, risk-reward parameters, and capital allocation.

Lead & Manage the Trading Team:

Hire, train,



mentor, and manage traders and analysts; establish clear KPIs and review mechanisms; and conduct regular reviews of trading performance, decision-making, and adherence to the defined methodology.

Performance, Risk & Continuous Improvement:

Own the desk’s P&L; and risk framework, establish robust performance attribution and reporting, and continuously evaluate and improve strategies based on actual trading outcomes.

Product & Technology Alignment:

Work closely with the product/technology team to translate trading requirements into effective tools, signals, dashboards, and workflows, and rigorously validate the quality of Pracias’ outputs through live/paper trading before wider deployment.
