Role Description The Head of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of EHS strategies, policies, and procedures across Vincit Labs’ operations. This full-time, on-site role is based in Rajpura and involves daily monitoring of workplace safety, environmental compliance, and occupational health standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratory environments. The role includes conducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections; investigating incidents; and driving corrective and preventive actions.

The Head of EHS will collaborate with production, quality, and leadership teams to ensure regulatory compliance, manage training programs, and promote a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities also include maintaining documentation for regulatory bodies, implementing emergency response plans,



and identifying opportunities to continuously improve EHS performance.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in environmental, health, and safety management within pharmaceutical, chemical, or related manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of applicable environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations and standards at local, national, and international levels.
- Experience in developing and implementing EHS policies, risk assessments, emergency response plans, and incident investigation processes.
- Proficiency in EHS data analysis, reporting, and documentation, including audit preparation and regulatory submissions.
- Proven ability to design and deliver EHS training programs and to influence and coach teams at all organizational levels.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Skilled EHS certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, industrial safety, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Experience handling hazardous materials, waste management, and implementing process safety management in API manufacturing is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Banur and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
