Role Description

The Senior Accountant will oversee end-to-end accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, month-end and year-end close, and preparation of financial statements for UK-based clients.



This full time, on-site role in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region involves reviewing and supervising the work of junior accountants, ensuring accuracy, compliance with UK accounting standards, and adherence to client-specific processes. The person in this role will handle complex reconciliations, review management accounts, support audit and tax teams with required schedules, and resolve accounting queries in coordination with client firms. They will collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders, use accounting and AI-enabled tools efficiently, and contribute to process improvements and quality control. The role also includes mentoring team members, supporting training initiatives, and helping manage workloads during peak seasons.
