Role Description The Business Development Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Chennai Area. In this role, the individual will identify and qualify recent business opportunities, build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, and drive lead generation activities across target markets. The position involves presenting The Vertical AI’s solutions to prospective clients, conducting product demos,



and collaborating with internal teams to shape customized proposals. The Business Development Executive will manage client accounts, nurture long-term relationships, and support contract negotiations to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Regular market research, competitor analysis, and reporting on sales performance are also integral to the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with a proven ability to build and manage a qualified pipeline.
• Business acumen and understanding of enterprise solutions or SaaS, with the ability to translate client needs into value propositions.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, including confident presentation and client-facing capabilities.
• Experience in Account Management, with a focus on relationship-building, retention, and upselling or cross-selling.
• Prior experience in B2B sales or business
