Yellow Rose is a new bakery café preparing to open as a welcoming neighborhood space for guests to enjoy fresh baked goods and quality coffee. The café focuses on handcrafted pastries and flavorful brews, made with care, creativity, and attention to detail. Designed as a cozy, community-centric spot, Yellow Rose aims to offer a relaxed environment where people can connect, unwind, and savor great food.

As the team gets ready for launch, there will be ongoing opportunities to introduce new menu items and refine offerings based on guest feedback.

Role Description The Continental & Chinese Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting a variety of Continental and Chinese dishes that complement the café’s baked goods and beverage offerings. Day-to-day tasks include developing and updating menus, preparing ingredients, cooking and plating dishes, ensuring consistent taste and quality, and maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety. The chef will coordinate with the café team to manage inventory, minimize waste, and support timely service during peak hours.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad, requiring active collaboration with management to introduce recent items,



respond to customer preferences, and uphold a positive, service-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

- Strong practical experience in Continental cuisine, including appetizers, mains, and side dishes.
- Proficiency in Chinese, pasta, burger, sandwich, etc. cooking techniques, sauces, and traditional and fusion-style dishes.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen hygiene practices, and proper storage procedures.
- Ability to manage kitchen operations, including prep schedules, inventory control, and coordination with service staff.
- Attention to presentation, portion control, and consistency in flavor and quality.
- Strong time management skills and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Prior experience as a chef or cook in a restaurant, café, or hotel kitchen; bakery café experience is an advantage.
- Formal culinary training or certification is preferred but not mandatory if supported by relevant experience.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak service times.
- Collaborative mindset, clear communication, and commitment to maintaining a respectful, inclusive workplace.
