Workforce Analytics Analyst – Resource Management Group

Role Overview

We are looking for a Workforce Analytics Analyst to support the Resource Management Group through

workforce reporting, analytics, and automation.

The role will involve working with workforce data such as utilization, bench, demand, deployment, capacity,

headcount, and hiring fulfilment, and converting this data into meaningful reports and dashboards for

business and leadership teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Advanced Excel, VBA/Macros, and Power

BI, along with a good understanding of workforce or resource management metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyse workforce data covering utilization, bench, demand, deployment, capacity,

headcount, and fulfilment.

• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc workforce reports for business and leadership reviews.

• Develop and automate Excel-based reports, trackers, and dashboards using Advanced Excel,

VBA/Macros, Power Query, and Power Pivot.

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and basic DAX calculations for workforce and business

reporting.

• Identify trends, gaps, and exceptions in workforce data and provide actionable insights.





• Support analysis of the business and revenue impact of utilization, bench, delayed deployment, and

open demand.

• Work closely with Resource Management, Finance, HR, Talent Acquisition, Delivery, and Business

teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate existing reporting and MIS processes.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Workforce Analytics, Resource Management, MIS, Business

Analytics, or a similar role.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Advanced Excel.

• Good working knowledge of VBA/Macros, Power Query, Power Pivot, Pivot Tables, and advanced Excel

formulas.

• Hands-on experience in Power BI dashboard development.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of DAX and data modelling.

• Solid analytical skills and attention to data accuracy.

• Ability to work with large datasets and present insights in a clear, business-friendly manner.

• Experience in an IT Services environment and familiarity with metrics such as utilization, bench,

demand, deployment, and fulfilment would be an advantage.
