We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team in India. This role is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the field of software quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing test plans and test cases.
- Executing manual and automated tests to ensure product quality.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborating with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on product functionality.
- Performing regression testing and ensuring that recent features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Java Script.
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
