Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled, safety-oriented, and experienced Full-Time Drone Pilot to join our team in Bhagalpur, Bihar. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring commercial drone operations across various sectors—such as agriculture monitoring, land surveying, infrastructure inspection, or video/photography.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Remote Pilot License (RPL) issued by DGCA-approved training institutes, possess solid technical knowledge of UAV systems, and be comfortable working in diverse outdoor environments throughout Bhagalpur and the broader Eastern Bihar region.

Key Responsibilities

- Flight Operations: Plan and execute UAV/drone missions safely and effectively for agricultural spraying, crop health monitoring, land mapping, or asset inspections.
- Pre- & Post-Flight Checks: Perform thorough pre-flight inspections, battery checks, sensor calibrations, and post-flight maintenance to ensure equipment integrity.
- Data Collection & Transfer: Capture accurate high-resolution aerial imagery, thermal/multispectral data, or geotagged video footage. Upload raw flight data for post-processing.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) regulations, local air space guidelines (Digital Sky portal), and safety protocols. Obtain site clearances and permission before flights.
- Maintenance & Equipment Care: Maintain logs for drone flight hours, battery charge cycles, and hardware updates. Troubleshoot basic mechanical or software issues in the field.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with local authorities, farmers, site engineers, or clients in Bhagalpur to ensure smooth ground operations.





Requirements & QualificationsEducation & Certification:

- Remote Pilot License (RPL): Valid DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (Mandatory).
- Education: Minimum Class 10th / 12th pass or Diploma / Degree in Agriculture, Civil Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.

Technical & Flight Experience:

- Experience: 1+ years of experience operating commercial drones (DJI, ideaForge, local agricultural drones, etc.).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in manual, semi-autonomous, and autonomous flight planning apps (e.g., DroneDeploy, QGroundControl, Pix4D, Mission Planner).
- Good hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and quick decision-making in variable weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of GIS, photogrammetry, or agricultural spraying techniques is a strong plus.

General Requirements:

- Language: Proficiency in Hindi and local dialect (Angika/Bhojpuri/Maithili) for clear local communication; basic English comprehension.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel daily across field sites within Bhagalpur district and neighboring areas. Must hold a valid 2-wheeler driving license.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to transport equipment, work long hours outdoors under direct sunlight, and navigate rural or uneven terrain.
