WAREHOUSE & DISPATCH MANAGER

Job Location: Kanchad, Maharashtra

Position Summary

The Warehouse & Dispatch Manager oversees warehouse operations and dispatch across three shifts, ensuring efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, accurate inventory, secure working practices and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

· Warehouse Operations: Manage receiving, storage, picking and shipping activities across three shifts. Optimise floor utilisation, material flow, FIFO and traceability.

· Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock counts and maintain inventory accuracy. Ensure correct storage locations, quantities and area demarcation.

· Dispatch & Logistics: Coordinate with Head Office, production, packing, transport companies and drivers to ensure vehicle availability, routing, dispatch planning and resolution of delivery issues.

· Staff Management: Ensure workforce availability and effective utilisation across three shifts. Supervise, coach, train and motivate warehouse and dispatch teams, driving continuous improvement.

· Safety & Compliance: Implement health, safety and security requirements, company policies and transportation rules.

· Records & Traceability: Maintain records of shipments,



inventory and performance. Verify stock daily, complete incoming and dispatch check sheets, arrange QA and Head Office approvals for every batch received and maintain batch traceability.

· Equipment & Maintenance: Ensure timely maintenance and safe use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and stackers.

· Reporting & KPIs: Analyse logistics performance and costs, prepare management reports, monitor team KPIs and report raw material and finished-goods stock levels daily.

Qualifications & Skills

· Experience: Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management and dispatch/logistics.

· Leadership: Strong team leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills.

· Coordination: Ability to coordinate across shifts with internal stakeholders, drivers and transport partners.
