Job Title: Food & Beverage Associate
Department: Operations
Reports To: Café Supervisor / Café Manager

Job Summary

The Food & Beverage Associate is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the café, including food and beverage preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth operations. The role requires adherence to company standards, food safety practices, and operational procedures to maintain a clean, organised, and customer-friendly café environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and food items as per the company’s prescribed standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the café, including the counter, equipment, kitchen area, and customer seating area.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of food items and ingredients.
- Monitor stock levels, check expiry dates, and inform the supervisor about replenishment requirements.
- Operate café equipment responsibly and ensure it is cleaned and maintained regularly.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food preparation, service, and daily café operations.
- Ensure timely preparation and availability of menu items during operating hours.




- Assist with opening and closing activities, including equipment checks, cleaning, and stock verification.
- Minimise food wastage and ensure the efficient use of ingredients and supplies.
- Follow food safety, personal hygiene, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with the Café Supervisor / Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Perform other operational duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
- Understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Punctual, disciplined, and responsible approach to work.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per operational requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum qualification: 10th or 12th pass.
- Prior experience in a café, QSR, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred.
- Freshers may also apply.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
