Production Manager – Ladies Fashion Footwear

Role

Manage end-to-end manufacturing of ladies' fashion footwear, specialising in heels, block heels, stilettos, wedges, sandals, flats, and ballerinas. Oversee the complete production process—from cutting, stitching, lasting, heel and sole attachment to finishing, quality control, and dispatch—ensuring high-quality products, cost efficiency, and timely production.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage daily and monthly production of ladies' fashion footwear.
- Supervise cutting, stitching, upper making, lasting, heel fixing, sole attachment, finishing, and packing.
- Ensure proper heel alignment, fitting, comfort, balance, bonding strength, and finishing quality.
- Handle production of different heel constructions, including block heels, stilettos, wedges, and platforms.
- Manage production supervisors, skilled craftsmen, operators, and factory workers.
- Monitor production output, material consumption, labour productivity, rejection rates, and wastage.
- Coordinate with designers and sampling teams to convert new designs into bulk production.
- Work with PU, PVC, TPR, synthetic leather, heels, insoles, outsoles, and footwear accessories.
- Maintain quality standards while controlling manufacturing costs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to lasting, heel fitting, sole bonding, sizing, and finishing.




- Ensure timely completion of production orders and maintain daily production MIS.

Requirements

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ladies' fashion footwear manufacturing.
- Practical experience in manufacturing women's heels is mandatory.
- Solid knowledge of heel construction, lasting, heel attachment, sole bonding, and finishing.
- Experience manufacturing ladies' sandals, stilettos, block heels, wedges, and flats.
- Ability to independently manage complete factory production and skilled manpower.
- Good understanding of footwear machinery, adhesives, materials, quality standards, and production costing.
- Experience in production planning, wastage reduction, and productivity improvement.
- Diploma/Degree in Footwear Technology (FDDI, CLRI, or equivalent preferred).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
