- Machine Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate panel saw or beam saw machines to perform rip, cross, and angle cuts. [1, 2]
- Reading Drawings & Cut Lists: Interpret shop drawings, cutting instructions, and software optimization layouts before starting a job. [1, 2]
- Material Handling & Optimization: Load wooden sheets carefully, follow cutting patterns to maximize material yield, and segregate reusable offcuts. [1]
- Quality Control: Inspect finished panels for correct measurements, squareness, chip-free edges, and surface defects using measuring tapes, scales, or calipers. [1]
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting:



Clean the machine, check blade and tool condition, report sharpening or replacement needs, and handle basic mechanical adjustments. [1]

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Math & Measurement: Proficiency in using measuring tapes, calipers, and calculation of dimensions (inches, mm, fractions).
- Experience: Typically 1 to 3+ years of hands-on experience in modular furniture, joinery, or woodworking industries.
