Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our Accounts Department with daily accounting activities, invoice processing, data entry, record maintenance, and basic financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, good computer skills, and a willingness to learn accounting software and company processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform day-to-day accounting data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process sales and purchase invoices and ensure proper documentation.
- Record and categorize financial transactions accurately.
- Enter accounting data into Tally, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
- Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and accounting registers.
- Assist with bank, customer, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
- Identify basic accounting errors and report discrepancies to the senior accountant.
- Assist in preparing basic tax schedules and supporting documents for statutory compliance.
- Maintain files,



vouchers, invoices, and other accounting records.
- Support the senior accounts team in routine accounting tasks and monthly closing activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with Tally or QuickBooks is preferred.
- Valuable data-entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn, take responsibility, and work as part of a team.
- Freshers with relevant educational qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and ledger maintenance.
- Prior internship or practical experience in accounting will be an advantage.
