Job Description

We are looking for a Functional Consultant – Zoho Finance Tools with strong accounting fundamentals and an interest in ERP implementation and finance technology.



The candidate will work with clients to understand their accounting and business processes and assist in implementing Zoho Books and other Zoho Finance applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in Zoho Books and Zoho Finance implementation projects.
- Understand client accounting and business requirements.
- Configure Chart of Accounts, customers, vendors, items, taxes, inventory, users, and other masters.
- Assist in migrating data from Tally, Excel, and other accounting systems to Zoho.
- Import and validate opening balances and accounting transactions.
- Reconcile Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, P&L;, receivables, payables, and inventory reports.
- Assist with workflow configurations, approval processes, templates, custom fields, and reports.
- Conduct application testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide product demonstrations and end-user training.
- Prepare project documentation, implementation trackers, data templates, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate with clients for data collection, issue resolution, and implementation activities.
- Provide functional support after implementation.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, P&L;, Balance Sheet, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
- Basic knowledge of GST and taxation.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with clients.
- Willingness to learn ERP and Zoho applications.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work with financial data.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Zoho Books, Tally, ERP/accounting software, or Advanced Excel will be an added advantage.
- Prior Zoho experience is not mandatory.
