Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Purchase Executive who can independently manage the complete purchase activities of our company, including procurement, vendor management, price negotiation, purchase orders, documentation, and timely material availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently handle all purchase-related activities from requirement identification to material delivery.
- Identify material requirements and coordinate with Production, Stores, and other departments.
- Source recent vendors, obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate the best commercial terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding pending orders, delivery schedules, and material shortages.
- Coordinate with Stores for material receipt, quantity verification, quality issues, and returns.
- Verify purchase invoices, GST details, delivery challans, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with Accounts for vendor payments, billing discrepancies, and reconciliation.
- Maintain purchase registers, vendor records, purchase documentation, and basic MIS reports.
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing,



proper documentation, and compliance with company procedures.

Candidate Requirements

- Experience: 3–5 years in Purchase / Procurement, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Education: Graduate / B.Com / Diploma or relevant qualification.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing, negotiation, and purchase management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP / Tally software.
- Understanding of GST invoices and purchase documentation.
- Strong communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage the complete purchase function.
- Familiarity with the Surat industrial supplier market will be an added advantage.
