PRODUCT MERCHANDISER - JEWELLERY

Location - Ahmedabad

Employment - Full-time, office/store based

Salary - ₹35,000 - ₹40,000 per month

Experience - 2-5 years preferred

Reports to - Founder / Management

Role Purpose - Own the product merchandising function so KHOOBI consistently carries the right jewellery, in the right categories, price points and quantities, backed by customer demand and sales data.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan category-wise assortment for bridal, occasion and supporting jewellery categories.
- Identify product gaps by design language, price point, occasion, weight/look and customer need.
- Build seasonal, festive and capsule collection plans with clear SKU requirements.
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving and non-moving inventory and recommend replenishment, redesign, transfer or exit actions.
- Create SKU classification and maintain clean product information, pricing and category architecture.
- Track product-wise and category-wise sales, sell-through, ageing and gross margin.
- Collect structured customer feedback and lost-sale reasons from the store team.
- Coordinate product development, sampling, sourcing/vendors and launch readiness.




- Plan product rotation and refresh for store display and online/catalogue requirements.
- Prepare a concise weekly merchandising dashboard for management.

Candidate Profile

- Experience in jewellery merchandising, buying, product development or retail planning preferred.
- Strong understanding of Indian bridal/occasion jewellery and commercial customer preferences.
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets, inventory reports and basic retail metrics.
- Positive aesthetic judgement with a strong commercial mindset.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of following products from idea to sale.
- Ownership mindset; should be comfortable building systems in a growing brand.
