Job Summary

Birlasoft is looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based backend development and React.js frontend development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, React.js, JavaScript, and relational databases.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.js.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build reusable, responsive, and high-performance UI components using React.js.
- Implement microservices architecture and integrate frontend applications with backend services.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design schemas and optimize queries.
- Implement application security using Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.




- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, and production troubleshooting.

Required Technical Skills Backend Development
- Strong programming experience in Java 8/11/17 or later.
- Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
- Hibernate/JPA and JDBC.
- Microservices architecture and REST API development.
- Core Java concepts, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.
- Design patterns, SOLID principles, and dependency injection.

Frontend Development
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
- JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- React Hooks, functional components, and component lifecycle concepts.
- State management using Redux, Context API, or similar tools.
- React Router and frontend API integration.
- Responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with npm/yarn and frontend build tools.

Database Technologies
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- SQL queries, joins, indexes, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is an advantage.
