About The Role

The Stores Executive will run the stores at Origin's robot assembly plant in Bengaluru, ensuring every build starts with a complete kit and every part in stock is accounted for. The role owns the full material flow inside the plant, from the receipt of components, sub-assemblies, consumables and tooling, through quality inspection, binning and stock control, to kitting, issue to the assembly line and outbound dispatch.

It also owns the stores records and processes in the inventory system and ERP. The role reports to the Plant Supervisor and works closely with Procurement, Quality Assurance, Assembly, Logistics and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive inbound consignments against the purchase order, verify quantities and documents, route every receipt through the Quality Assurance team for inspection, and raise the GRN once material is cleared; report shortages, damages or mismatches to Procurement for resolution
• Segregate rejected and non-conforming material, issue rejection notes, and coordinate vendor returns and replacements with Procurement and Quality Assurance
• Organize the stores with a defined bin-location system, FIFO practice, ESD-protected storage for electronics, dedicated storage for lithium-ion batteries, and clear separation of inspected, pending, rejected and returned stock
• Maintain inventory accuracy of 99% or higher through reg
