About Fantek
Fantek is a Chennai-based engineering consultancy and equipment supplier for industrial fans, bag filters and dedusting systems. We work with large steel, power and process-industry clients across India. You will work closely with our engineering and sales team and learn how industrial projects are enquired, quoted and won.

Internship details
• Paid internship
• Duration: 3 months
• Location: Based out of our Chennai office (Annanagar), on-site
• Only candidates based in Chennai can apply
• Travel: Required, within India, to customer sites and plants
• Start: Immediate joining

What you will do
• Find and follow up on current enquiries from industrial customers by email, phone and tender portals.
• Help prepare and track technical and commercial offers with the engineering team.
• Prepare marketing material such as company and product brochures, presentations, case studies, email campaigns and LinkedIn posts.
• Travel within India to customer sites and plants,



and meet customers and prospects along with senior team members to understand their requirements and build relationships.
• Maintain the enquiry and offer tracker in Excel and keep customer records up to date.
• Research target industries and companies, and build contact lists of decision makers.
• Draft professional customer emails and support day-to-day sales coordination.

Who can apply
• Only candidates based in Chennai can apply.
• Pursuing or recently completed BBA or MBA (marketing, business or any related specialisation).
• Good spoken and written English, and comfortable calling, emailing and meeting customers.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; basic design skills (Canva or similar) are a plus.
• Willing to travel within India to customer sites as required.
• Interest in industrial or engineering products is a plus. A technical background is not required.
• Able to join immediately and be based out of our Chennai office.
