We are looking for an experienced Automotive Lighting Design Engineer to join our automotive engineering team. If you have hands-on experience in Head Lamp and Rear Lamp design along with solid CATIA V5 skills, we'd love to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Design and develop automotive lighting components:
• Head Lamps
• Rear Lamps
• Tail Lamps
• Signal Lamps
✅ Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5
✅ Develop component and assembly designs considering manufacturing, packaging, and regulatory requirements
✅ Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and design feasibility studies
✅ Work with cross-functional teams including Styling, CAE, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Validation teams
✅ Support design reviews, engineering change management, and release activities
✅ Ensure compliance with automotive lighting standards and customer requirements
Required Skills
✔ 3-5 years of Automotive Lighting Design experience
✔ Strong hands-on expertise in CATIA V5
• Part Design
• Assembly Design
• Drafting
• GSD (Generative Shape Design)
✔ Experience in Head Lamp and Rear Lamp Design & Development
✔ Knowledge of:
• Plastic Components
• Tooling Feasibility
• GD&T;
• DFMEA
• Tolerance Stack-up Analysis
✔ Understanding of Automotive Product Development Lifecycle
✔ OEM / Tier-1 supplier project experience preferred
