Role OverviewThe Junior Category Manager supports the Brand Manager in the day to day management of an assigned category across marketplaces such as Myntra, Ajio, Amazon and Flipkart. This role covers pricing and inventory monitoring, catalogue hygiene, and marketplace coordination for the category, along with support on assortment planning and demand forecasting under the guidance of the Brand Manager.

Responsibilities• Monitor pricing and inventory for the assigned category on a daily basis across marketplaces such as Myntra, Ajio, Amazon and Flipkart; identify fast moving and slow moving styles and recommend timely action.




• Coordinate and communicate with counterparts at marketplaces for promotions, advertising and account related issues, and be comfortable using seller side applications and dashboards of these online portals.
• Support the Brand Manager in understanding key ecommerce metrics for the category and in executing pricing strategies for our brands.
• Assist in creating inventory requirement forecasts as per current sales trends to make sure high demand products in the category are always in stock.
• Check catalogue hygiene for the category to ensure styles are completely catalogued and all inventory is live front to end across marketplace platforms.
• Support the management of PLA and PPC campaigns for the category, especially on Amazon, and assist in tracking ad budgets.
• Work closely with sourcing and merchandising teams to support timely launches of current season styles and replenishment of core products
