Your tasks

• Assuring of Robust, Cost-effective and quality designs in time for the Drives product area.

• Assuring compliance to the specifications according to internal and external guidelines.

• Liaise with Product groups in Headquarters to understand specific Design requests.

• Independently think and create Design concepts (3D & 2D layouts) to meet customer/internal product demands in line with Brose Design guidelines.

• Independent execution of basic technical calculations (e.g. GD &T;, Stack-up) and simulations (e.g. deformation, loading, kinematics).

• Initiation of more complex calculations together with specialists (e.g. FEA, Mold flow) and interpretation of results together with specialists.





• Ability to interact independently with suppliers to create prototypes to verify generated new design concepts.

• Ability to define/dictate Test and Measurement methods to verify the prototypes from the supplier.

• Collaboration at creation and enhancement of Design FMEAs.

• Possess Positive understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods about Automotive Drives & Actuator systems.

• Possess broad knowledge about materials used for Drives & Actuator systems and its components (e.g. Plastic, Sheet metal, Aluminium Die-cast).

• Ensuring of continuous room for improvement: Gaining and documentation of results (e.g. Feedback from customers, benchmarking, contacts from fairs, return of know-how from products in series production) and assuring implementation in future developments

Your Profile

• 3-7 Years experience in Design and development of Drives/Actuator systems. Experience in Automotive Industry preferred.

• Proficient in CATIA-V5, EV6.
