10–12 years of experience in Desktop/Server Support and System Administration.

5+ years of experience in Nexthink.

Role & Responsibilities

Key Result Areas (Activities scheduled in the project):

-

Requirements gathering from the customer.

-

Responsible for the overall planning and design of Nexthink architecture.

-

Prepare Nexthink implementation and deployment project plans and execute them.

-

Manage Nexthink Cloud instances and, for on-premises deployments, manage the appliance via the Linux command line.

-

Create Nexthink process documentation.

-

Prepare Nexthink test cases and execute testing.

-

Coordinate with the client SME for Nexthink implementation, testing, and deployment sign-off.

-

Coordinate with Network, Active Directory (AD), SCCM, Datacenter, and Wintel teams to address project dependencies.

-

Envision, plan, and deploy Nexthink Infinity operational configurations, including investigations, alerts, dashboards, hierarchy, services, and categories.

-

Create PowerShell scripts for Infinity or Nexthink Act modules.

-

Lead a team of BAU consultants/engineers.

-

Provide technical guidance and coordinate with onsite/offshore teams.

-

Review Nexthink engineering/deployment project plans and progress.

-





Participate in program and project review meetings.

Required Candidate Profile

-

Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment; shifts will depend on the project.

-

Strong knowledge of Nexthink concepts, architecture, and operational configurations.

-

Positive knowledge of NQL (Nexthink Query Language).

-

Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.

-

Good knowledge of L2/L3 desktop support operations, incident management, problem management, and change management.

-

Basic knowledge of NQL commands and Linux/Unix commands.

-

Basic knowledge of SCCM deployment.

-

Good customer orientation and coordination skills.

-

Good knowledge of deployment tools such as SCCM, MDT, Altiris, etc.

-

Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Servers.

-

Basic understanding of networking concepts.

-

Good working knowledge of PowerShell scripting.

-

Act as the first point of escalation for issues.

Certifications

1.

Windows 10 and Windows 11 Certification.

Nexthink IT Support Module Certification – Mandatory.

3.

Nexthink IT Admin Module Certification – Mandatory.

4.

Infinity certifications.

Education

- B.Sc., B.Tech, or any graduate degree with relevant experience.
