Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day maintenance and engineering operations across the hospital.
- Ensure uninterrupted functioning of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other utility systems.
- Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Supervise the maintenance team, contractors, and external service providers.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and applicable statutory requirements.
- Monitor maintenance budgets, inventory, equipment performance, and breakdown reports.
- Coordinate with hospital departments to ensure smooth and secure operations.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in maintenance and engineering management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, medical gas pipelines, DG sets, lifts, and other hospital utilities.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance, vendor management, and team supervision.
- Knowledge of safety standards, statutory compliance, and maintenance documentation.
