Department: Quality Control / Quality Assurance

Job Title: Incoming Quality Inspector

- Job ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming raw materials, mechanical components, and purchased parts received from suppliers.
- Check hydraulic pump components such as shafts, pistons, seals, bearings, valves, and machined parts.
- Verify component dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Check components against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Verify supplier inspection reports, material certificates, and other quality documents.
- Identify defective, damaged, or out-of-specification materials and report them to the Quality Engineer.
- Prepare incoming inspection reports and maintain inspection records.




- Segregate rejected materials and coordinate with the purchase and stores departments.
- Support supplier quality issues and corrective action activities.
- Follow quality procedures, safety requirements, and 5S practices.
- Required SkillsBasic knowledge of mechanical components and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
- Basic understanding of dimensional inspection and quality control.
- Attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulic components is an added advantage.

QualificationITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.

ExperienceFreshers or experienced candidates, depending on company requirements.
