- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transfer raw materials, parts, and finished products manually or using carts, dollies, and conveyor belts.
- Machine Support: Feed items into processing equipment, assist operators with machine start-ups/shut-downs, and remove waste or scrap materials.
- Quality & Inspection: Check finished items for basic flaws, count products, and report defective parts or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
- Packaging & Storing: Sort, label, wrap, and pack finished goods into boxes or onto pallets for storage/shipment.
- Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, transparent debris, and sanitize work areas to maintain a safe, hazard-free shop floor.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toe boots, gloves, or safety glasses.
