Role Description The Warehouse Category Manager – Home Decor is a full-time, on-site role based in Devanahalli. This role oversees home decor product categories within the warehouse, ensuring optimal stock levels, timely replenishment, and effective product assortment to support store demand. The position involves analyzing sales and inventory data, coordinating with procurement and suppliers, monitoring product performance, and implementing category-level strategies to improve turnover and margins.

The manager collaborates with warehouse operations, sales teams, and other stakeholders to streamline processes, reduce losses, and maintain accurate records and documentation.



Daily responsibilities also include negotiating with vendors, supporting promotional activities, and ensuring adherence to company standards for quality, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications

- Strong category management expertise with experience in managing home decor product lines.
- Solid analytical skills for interpreting sales, inventory, and market data to drive category performance.
- Proficiency in procurement and contract negotiation to manage suppliers, pricing, and terms effectively.
- Understanding of sales processes and collaboration with sales teams to align warehouse stock with demand.
- Experience in warehouse or supply chain operations, including inventory control and process optimization.
- Ability to use MS Excel and other relevant tools for reporting, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field; experience in furniture or retail is an advantage.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in handling Home Decor products.
- 4 plus years of experience in warehouse/inventory/category management.
- Immediate to 30 days joiners are preferred.
- Home Decor experience is mandatory and candidates without it are requested to refrain from applying.
