We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to lead end-to-end automotive product development, from reverse engineering and CAD modelling to tooling, prototyping, validation, and production handover.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop automotive components and accessories for injection moulding, blow moulding, and thermoforming.
- Perform reverse engineering of physical parts, vehicle components, and 3D scan data.
- Develop Class-A surfaces, 3D solid models, assemblies, and manufacturing-ready CAD designs.
- Prepare detailed 2D/3D engineering drawings, dimensions,



tolerances, and GD&T.;
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and evaluate mouldability, draft angles, wall thickness, shrinkage, and tooling feasibility.
- Coordinate with mould makers, tooling vendors, CAM/CNC teams, and manufacturing departments.
- Manage prototype development, vehicle fitment, design corrections, and production release.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong hands-on proficiency in Siemens NX.

- Expertise in reverse engineering, Class-A surfacing, and 3D solid modelling.

- Good knowledge of 2D/3D engineering drawings and GD&T.;

- Practical understanding of injection moulding, blow moulding, and thermoforming.

- Working knowledge of CAM, CNC machining, tooling, and DFM.

Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.

Preferred: Experience in automotive exterior parts, body kits, grilles, spoilers, cladding, and plastic components.

Candidates must have practical design-to-manufacturing experience and strong problem-solving skills.
