Role Description The Senior Circle Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Giridih, Jharkhand. This role oversees electrical distribution operations within the assigned circle, including planning, monitoring, and optimizing network performance and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising field teams, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, reviewing technical reports, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Engineer will manage load forecasting, outage analysis, and system improvement initiatives,



and support implementation of current projects and upgrades. The role also involves stakeholder coordination with local offices and contractors, budget and resource planning, and mentoring junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, electrical engineering principles, and utility operations.
- Experience in supervising field teams, coordinating maintenance activities, and managing technical projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, load flow data, and performance reports for decision-making.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements in the power sector.
- Proficiency in using standard office and engineering software; basic data analysis and reporting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Relevant experience in power distribution or utility engineering at a supervisory or senior level.
- Willingness to work on-site in Giridih and conduct regular field visits as required.
