About the Role:We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 3-6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. The role will focus on ensuring software quality through manual and automation testing, identifying defects, validating application functionality, and improving testing processes. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in functional testing, API testing, test automation, and software quality assurance methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and functional requirements.
- Perform manual and automation testing for web-based and enterprise applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing to ensure application quality.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Validate database functionality and perform SQL queries for backend data verification.
- Participate in test planning, test execution, defect management, and release validation activities.
- Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines to improve testing efficiency.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve QA processes, testing frameworks, and software quality standards.





Requirements:
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automation testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and testing methodologies.
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Good knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with test management and defect-tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of SQL queries and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or Cucumber.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter is preferred.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across development and product teams.
