About the Role

Eat Better Co. is looking for an experienced and proactive NPD Executive with a background in the food and FMCG industry. The candidate will support the end-to-end development of new food products, from concept development and product trials to commercialization and launch.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop recent food products based on market trends, consumer preferences, and business requirements.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and product benchmarking within the food and FMCG sector.
- Coordinate product formulation, sampling, trials, and sensory evaluations.
- Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Marketing teams.
- Coordinate with third-party manufacturers and vendors for product development and commercialization.
- Assist with raw material selection, product costing, packaging development, and feasibility assessments.
- Maintain product specifications, formulations, trial reports, and NPD documentation.
- Monitor product quality,



development timelines, and product launch activities.
- Identify opportunities for product innovation, improvement, and cost optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in NPD within the Food or FMCG industry is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in food product development, formulation, and product trials.
- Knowledge of food ingredients, raw materials, packaging, and quality standards.
- Experience coordinating with third-party manufacturers is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates must have prior experience in the Food & FMCG sector only.
- Practical understanding of the food product development lifecycle, from concept to commercial launch.
- Ability to manage multiple development projects and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and innovation-driven approach.
