Key Responsibilities

- Integrate PLCs, sensors and industrial devices using OPC-UA, Modbus TCP/RTU and MQTT.
- Configure edge gateways for data collection, local buffering and store-and-forward synchronization.
- Integrate machine-cloud and third-party systems using REST APIs and secure authentication.
- Map PLC tags/registers and normalize timestamps, units and device data for application use.
- Integrate weighbridges and devices over RS-232/RS-485/TCP or available database interfaces.
- Support integrations with ANPR cameras, biometric/NFC readers, GPS systems and laboratory equipment.
- Monitor interface health, retries, error logs and data quality; troubleshoot communication issues.
- Work with OEMs and software teams during commissioning, testing and onboarding of new machines.
- Maintain read-only OT-to-IT data flows and support secure separation of industrial and IT networks.

Required Skills

- 2-4 years of experience in Industrial IoT, automation, embedded systems or industrial integration.




- Hands-on understanding of PLCs and industrial communication protocols such as OPC-UA and Modbus.
- Experience with MQTT, TCP/IP, RS-232/RS-485 and industrial networking.
- Experience integrating devices or gateways with REST APIs, JSON and HTTP/HTTPS.
- Basic Linux knowledge and ability to troubleshoot device, network and gateway issues.
- Understanding of PLC tags, registers, addresses, data types and real-time/time-series data.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to coordinate with equipment vendors and software teams.

Valuable to Have

- Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs, industrial gateways or AWS IoT.
- Programming/scripting experience in Python, Node.js, C/C++ or similar.
- Exposure to industrial scales, ANPR/RTSP cameras, sensors or condition-monitoring systems.

Education

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Computer Science/IT or a related field.
