Role Description The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, providing guidance on HR policies, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on employee relations matters, supporting performance management processes, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws. The HRBP will collaborate with managers to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with business goals, including talent development, feedback frameworks, and culture-building programs.

This contract role is fully remote and requires regular collaboration across time zones using digital tools and virtual meetings. The HRBP will also contribute to HR process improvement, documentation, and data-informed decision-making to support a high-performing,



mission-aligned team.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Policies, with the ability to interpret and apply HR frameworks to support business objectives.
- Strong Employee Relations skills, including coaching managers, resolving conflicts, and supporting engagement and retention initiatives.
- Solid understanding of Labor and Employment Law, with experience maintaining compliance in a remote or distributed workforce setting.
- Proficiency in Performance Management, including goal setting, feedback processes, and performance improvement strategies.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role, ideally in a tech, startup, or research-focused environment.
- Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- Comfort working in a remote, fast-evolving setting, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field; HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) are a plus.
- Interest in human development, organizational psychology, or mission-driven work related to human agency and consciousness is highly beneficial.
