Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Vadodara. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing invoices, and handling accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities include assisting with monthly and annual closing, preparing financial statements and management reports, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts. The role also involves monitoring budgets, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, and coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.



The Accountant is expected to maintain accurate records, improve financial processes, and support management in financial decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in core accounting principles, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar), MS Excel, and basic data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and audit processes relevant to manufacturing or industrial organizations.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in finance, operations, and management.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple deadlines and maintain accurate documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing or automotive sectors is preferred, with familiarity in cost accounting and inventory accounting considered beneficial.
