Job Summary

Rainbow Specialty Hospital is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Pharmacy Data Entry Operator (DEO) to manage pharmacy billing, medicine stock records, purchase entries, and inventory-related data. The ideal candidate should have good computer skills, knowledge of pharmacy operations, and experience working with pharmacy billing or hospital management software.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform accurate data entry of medicine purchases, sales, returns, and stock transactions.
- Generate pharmacy bills and maintain daily billing records.
- Update and maintain medicine inventory in pharmacy management software.
- Enter purchase invoices, supplier details, and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
- Monitor medicine stock levels, batch numbers, and expiry dates.
- Maintain records of stock transfers, returns, and expired or damaged medicines.
- Assist with daily stock reconciliation and periodic inventory audits.
- Coordinate with pharmacists, storekeepers, and accounts personnel.
- Prepare daily and monthly pharmacy sales, purchase, and inventory reports.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and proper maintenance of pharmacy records.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Education: Minimum Higher Secondary (10+2); Graduate candidates preferred.
- Experience:



Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in pharmacy billing, inventory management, or data entry.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and basic computer applications.
- Experience with pharmacy billing software, inventory systems, or Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS).
- Basic knowledge of medicine names, batch numbers, expiry dates, GST billing, and stock management.
- Good typing speed with accuracy.
- Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy, retail pharmacy, or medical store will be preferred.
