We are looking for a motivated Design Trainee with basic knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD to join our SPM Automation design team. Candidates who have completed a SolidWorks course and are interested in developing their skills in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) design are encouraged to apply.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist senior design engineers in SPM machine design and development.
- Create and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Assist in preparing engineering drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Learn fixture, jig and machine component design.
- Support the design team in drawing modifications and documentation.
- Coordinate with the production and assembly teams as required.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Candidates who have completed a SolidWorks course will be preferred.
- Understanding of 2D drawings and 3D modelling.
- Interest in mechanical design and SPM automation.
- Willingness to learn and work with senior engineers.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
