Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to build and deploy production-ready AI applications, intelligent agents, and enterprise software solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering skills with hands-on expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agent workflows, API integrations, and cloud-based applications.

You will work directly with clients and business stakeholders to understand complex business challenges, translate requirements into technical solutions, develop rapid prototypes, and deliver scalable, reliable AI-powered applications to production.

Candidates must have strong problem-solving skills, a hands-on engineering mindset, excellent communication abilities, and the flexibility to work in CST business hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Work directly with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered applications and agentic workflows.
- Build and integrate LLM-based systems using prompts, tools, context management, memory, and structured outputs.
- Develop AI agent workflows involving planning, tool selection, execution, observation, error recovery, and termination.
- Implement workflow orchestration using graphs, state machines, and multi-step execution patterns.
- Develop REST APIs, backend services, data pipelines, and enterprise application integrations.
- Integrate AI solutions with databases, cloud platforms, third-party APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Build evaluation frameworks to measure AI accuracy, reliability, task completion, latency, and cost.
- Troubleshoot AI-related challenges,



including hallucinations, context loss, unreliable tool calls, looping, and prompt injection.
- Apply security controls, access permissions, monitoring, and observability to AI applications.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, data, security, and client teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Take ownership of solutions from discovery and prototyping through validation, deployment, and production support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong programming experience in Python, TypeScript, or a similar programming language.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered applications or agentic systems.
- Solid understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, context management, memory, tool calling, and structured outputs.
- Practical experience designing AI agents and multi-step execution workflows.
- Understanding of workflow orchestration, graphs, state machines, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Experience developing APIs, integrating databases, and building scalable software applications.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern software engineering practices.
- Ability to convert ambiguous business requirements into technical designs and working solutions.
- Experience taking applications from prototype to production.
- Strong debugging, analytical thinking, communication, and ownership skills.




- Willingness to work remotely during CST business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AI agent frameworks, coding agents, or custom AI orchestration systems.
- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, or knowledge graphs.
- Experience with AI evaluation, regression testing, and production monitoring.
- Familiarity with AI observability, tracing, token usage, cost optimization, and latency monitoring.
- Experience building multi-agent or multi-model AI systems.
- Understanding of AI security, prompt injection, data leakage, and secure tool execution.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in consulting, solutions engineering, professional services, or client-facing technical roles.
- Experience delivering solutions in complex enterprise environments.
