We’re a global online booking platform operating across multiple country-specific domains, with a custom-built website (not WordPress or a template CMS) and a large, growing footprint of landing pages, country pages, city pages, and long-form blog content spanning dozens of markets.
We’re looking for an SEO specialist who’s comfortable working across both the technical and authority-building sides of SEO, roughly a 30/70 split: 30% basic backend and on-page technical work, 70% quality backlink creation and content marketing.
What you’ll actually work on:
Technical & on-page (about 50%)
- Working with our custom backend to fix on-page issues: meta tags, schema markup, canonical tags, hreflang across multiple country domains
- Coordinating with developers on indexing, crawl efficiency, Core Web Vitals, and page speed issues
- Auditing and cleaning up duplicate or thin content across a large, multi-domain site structure
- Comfortable reading audit tool output (Search Console, Semrush, Screaming Frog or similar) and translating it into clear, prioritized fixes
Backlinks & content marketing (about 50%)
- Building genuine, relevant backlinks through outreach, guest content, and digital PR, not bulk or low-quality link networks
- Identifying and vetting link opportunities by real traffic and topical relevance, not just a domain authority number
- Repurposing and promoting content across the right channels to support both links and visibility
- Tracking and reporting on link quality, referring domains, and what’s actually moving rankings, not just volume
What we’re looking for:
- Real experience with both technical SEO fundamentals and hands-on link building, we need one person who can genuinely do both, not two half-skills
- Comfortable working on a custom-built website without a typical CMS plugin ecosystem to lean on
- Experience with multi-domain or multi-country SEO is a robust plus, understanding hreflang, regional targeting, and avoiding content cannibalization across markets
- Familiarity with Semrush, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics
- Someone who can explain their reasoning plainly, we care about understanding why something is being done, not just that it was done
Nice to have:
- Experience in travel, booking, or e-commerce SEO specifically
- Familiarity with AI search visibility and structured data for answer engines (schema, FAQ markup, and similar)
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
Application Question(s):
- Describe one technical SEO fix you made that had a measurable result, what was broken, what you changed, what happened after?
Work Location: Remote
