The Sales Capability Trainer – GT NBA will be responsible for enhancing the sales capabilities, execution excellence, and productivity of Individual Sales Representatives (ISRs) and Territory Sales Officers (TSOs) across the General Trade – New Business Acquisition (GT NBA) channel. The role will focus on classroom training, field coaching, and on-the-job interventions to translate learning into measurable improvements in sales performance and market execution.

Key Responsibilities
/ KRAs:
• Sales Capability Development: Conduct training for ISRs and TSOs on selling skills, product knowledge, territory management, PJP/beat planning, productive calls, order conversion, range selling, and merchandising.
• Field Coaching & Execution: Conduct regular market visits with ISRs and TSOs to observe sales practices, provide on-the-job coaching, and reinforce effective selling behaviours.
• Capability Gap Assessment: Identify skill and execution gaps through market observations, sales performance data, training assessments, and feedback from sales managers.
• Training Intervention Design:



Develop and deliver focused learning interventions, role plays, assessments, job aids, and field coaching tools aligned with business priorities.
• New Joiner Onboarding: Support structured onboarding and role-readiness training for recent joiners across the GT NBA channel.
• Refresher & Continuous Learning: Conduct refresher training to reinforce product knowledge, sales processes, and consistent execution standards.
• Training Effectiveness & Productivity: Track training outcomes and assess their impact on productive calls, order conversion, range selling, PJP adherence, and frontline sales productivity.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the GT NBA Sales Team and Regional Trainers to ensure consistent training delivery and capability development across India.
• Reporting & Insights: Maintain training calendars, attendance records, assessments, and field coaching reports; share capability insights and improvement recommendations with the Education & Talent Development team.
