We are looking for an experienced and responsible Vehicle Service & Maintenance Manager to manage the daily activities of our vehicle service garage in Sanand. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle maintenance, repair work, mechanic supervision, spare parts management, and ensuring that vehicles are serviced and ready for operation on time.

The ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, team management, and garage operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the service garage.
- Supervise mechanics, technicians, and other garage staff.
- Plan and monitor regular vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure timely repair and maintenance of buses, cars, and other fleet vehicles.
- Identify vehicle issues and coordinate repair work.




- Monitor vehicle breakdowns and ensure quick resolution.
- Maintain records of vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance history.
- Manage spare parts, tools, lubricants, and other garage materials.
- Monitor repair costs and ensure proper use of materials.
- Coordinate with drivers and the transport operations team regarding vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and secure before being deployed.
- Ensure proper use of tools and compliance with garage safety procedures.
- Prepare daily maintenance reports and update management on vehicle status.

Requirements

- Experience in vehicle maintenance, automobile workshops, or garage management is preferred.
- Technical knowledge of vehicle servicing and repair.
- Experience handling mechanics and workshop staff.
- Knowledge of buses, commercial vehicles, or fleet maintenance will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance records, spare parts, and cost management.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple repair jobs and meet deadlines.
- Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.
