Role Description The TSM (Territory Sales Manager) role at PAYTM SERVICES PVT LTD is a full-time, on-site position based in Saharsa. The TSM is responsible for managing and expanding Paytm’s presence in the assigned territory by onboarding and supporting merchants, driving usage of Paytm products, and achieving sales and activation targets. Daily activities include visiting merchants, explaining product features, resolving operational issues, collecting feedback, and coordinating with internal teams for smooth implementation.

The role also involves monitoring market trends, preparing basic reports on performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and processes.



The TSM will maintain strong relationships with local partners and stakeholders to support sustained business growth in the region.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong sales and business development abilities, including field sales experience and a track record of meeting targets.
- Candidates should possess customer relationship and service skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, handle queries, and build trust with merchants.
- Candidates should possess basic analytical and reporting skills, including comfort with using mobile apps, spreadsheets, and dashboards to track performance.
- Candidates should possess territory management and organizational skills, including planning daily routes, prioritizing visits, and managing time effectively.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field are beneficial.
- Prior experience in fintech, payments, FMCG, telecom, or retail field operations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in local language and working-level English, along with familiarity with smartphones and digital payment apps, is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, travel within Saharsa as needed, and adhere to ethical and compliance standards is required.
