Role Description The Junior Merchandiser role at HINDUSTAN RECRUITMENT is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. In this role, the Junior Merchandiser supports the planning and execution of product assortments, helping ensure the right mix of merchandise is available at the right time and price. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with sales and retail teams, monitoring stock levels, assisting in order placement, and tracking product performance. The role involves collecting customer and market feedback, supporting visual merchandising efforts, and maintaining accurate product and pricing information.

The Junior

Merchandiser collaborates with internal stakeholders and suppliers to help deliver a consistent and engaging customer experience.

- 3–4 years of experience in a buying house is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of apparel merchandising and product development.
- Experience in sampling, costing, production follow-ups, and shipment coordination.
- Positive communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and retail partners, and to present merchandising plans clearly.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Retail skills to understand customer preferences, store operations, and on-floor merchandising needs.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Marketing skills to support promotional activities, analyze product performance, and contribute to strategies that drive revenue.
- Candidates should ideally have basic analytical and data interpretation skills to review sales reports, inventory data, and market trends for merchandising decisions.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in merchandising, retail management, business, or a related field is preferred; prior internship or junior experience in retail or merchandising is an advantage.
