: Apigee X / Apigee Hybrid Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Apigee X / Apigee Hybrid Developer with strong expertise in API management, API security, web development, containerization, UX development, Python, and Redis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, securing, deploying, and managing scalable API solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, deploy, and manage APIs using Google Apigee X and Apigee Hybrid.
- Implement API management solutions, including API proxies, policies, traffic management, analytics, and lifecycle management.
- Configure API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, TLS/SSL, and other security mechanisms.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with enterprise applications.
- Work on web development and UX development to build user-friendly interfaces and API integration solutions.
- Use Python for scripting, automation, backend development, and API integration.
- Utilize Redis for caching, session management, and improving application performance.
- Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to support deployment and application scalability.
- Configure and troubleshoot Apigee Hybrid runtime components and their integration with Kubernetes-based environments.
- Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions for availability, scalability,



and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, DevOps engineers, and security teams to deliver robust API solutions.
- Follow API design standards, security best practices, CI/CD processes, and documentation guidelines.

Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with Apigee X and Apigee Hybrid.
- Solid understanding of API Management and API lifecycle management.
- Experience in Web Development and RESTful API integration.
- Knowledge of Containerization, preferably Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of API Security, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, and TLS/SSL.
- Experience with UX Development and frontend integration.
- Programming and scripting experience in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Redis for caching and performance optimization.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud-native architecture.
- CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
- Git, Jenkins, Cloud Build, or similar DevOps tools.
- API monitoring, troubleshooting, logging, and performance tuning.
- Microservices architecture and backend integration patterns.
