Infosys – Nutanix Infrastructure – Managed Infrastructure Services (8–12 Years Experience, JL5)

We are looking for senior Nutanix professionals to design, implement, operate, and optimize enterprise-scale Nutanix platforms.

- Architect, design, deploy, upgrade, and manage enterprise-scale Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure.
- Administer Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism Central, Prism Element, Life Cycle Manager, and related platform services.
- Lead platform engineering, automation, capacity management, reliability, and operational-improvement initiatives.
- Ensure platform availability, scalability, security, performance, backup readiness, disaster recovery, and compliance.
- Collaborate with compute, network, storage, backup, security, application, and cloud teams in an ITIL-based delivery environment.

Qualifications

Basic

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
- 8–12 years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, storage, or private cloud, including strong hands-on Nutanix experience.
- Strong expertise in Nutanix architecture, AHV virtualization, cluster administration, lifecycle management, operations, and troubleshooting.

Preferred

- Strong hands-on experience in Nutanix cluster installation, configuration, expansion, upgrades, patching, administration, and lifecycle management.
- Deep working knowledge of AOS, AHV, Prism Central, Prism Element, Life Cycle Manager, NCC, Foundation, and Nutanix cluster services.
- Experience managing virtual machines, storage containers, volume groups, snapshots, protection domains, replication, and recovery workflows.
- Strong understanding of Nutanix networking, VLANs, virtual switches, NIC teaming, IP address management, and integration with enterprise networks.
- Experience with Nutanix Files, Objects, Flow, Calm, Leap,



or related Nutanix services.
- Automation experience using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform, or shell scripting.
- Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, cluster hardening, firmware management, and platform upgrades.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, problem management, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, performance analysis, capacity reporting, and health checks using Prism and enterprise monitoring tools.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise infrastructure operations.

Advanced Concepts / Expertise

- Multi-cluster Nutanix architecture, Prism Central governance, availability-zone design, and workload placement.
- Advanced AHV administration, Acropolis Dynamic Scheduling, affinity policies, live migration, and virtualization performance tuning.
- Nutanix distributed storage architecture, data locality, replication factor, erasure coding, deduplication, compression, and capacity optimization.
- Business continuity and disaster-recovery design using protection domains, replication, recovery plans, Nutanix Leap, and failover testing.
- Complex cluster upgrades, node additions and removals, hardware lifecycle management, failure recovery, and vendor coordination.
- Security hardening, role-based access control, Active Directory integration, certificate management, encryption, microsegmentation, and compliance.
- Platform observability, resilience testing, performance benchmarking, capacity forecasting, and tuning at scale.
- Workload migration from traditional virtualization or legacy infrastructure to Nutanix, including compatibility assessment and rollback planning.
- Cost optimization, utilization analysis,



operational automation, and service-level reporting.

Nice to Have

- Positive working knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, and VMware-to-AHV migration.
- Experience with Nutanix Cloud Clusters, hybrid cloud, or public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Relevant certifications such as Nutanix Certified Professional, Nutanix Certified Advanced Professional, VCP, or equivalent.
- Experience with enterprise backup and recovery products integrated with Nutanix.
- DevSecOps, configuration management, infrastructure-as-code, and Git-based delivery practices.
- Experience supporting large-scale data-center consolidation, platform transformation, or migration programs.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. The role may require participation in rotational shifts, on-call duty, and incident-response engagement during critical network events. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
