Position Summary
We are seeking a versatile, highly organized individual to manage both our accounting functions and material stock management. This dual role requires a sharp professional who can balance financial record-keeping with strategic inventory control and strategic procurement to support our growing EV production unit.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Stock Management
- Strategic Procurement: Proactively source and find competitive quotations for various EV components and raw materials.
- Stock Monitoring: Maintain precise inventory levels to ensure zero downtime in production.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with stores and production teams to forecast material requirements.
- Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate competitive terms for timely procurement.
- Supply Chain Tracking: Ensure on-time delivery of raw materials and components.
- Vendor Evaluation:
Assess supplier performance regularly against strict quality and timeline standards.
Accounting & Documentation
- Financial Record Keeping: Manage daily accounts, purchase ledgers, and financial documentation.
- Invoice Verification: Process vendor invoices, match them with purchase orders, and clear payments.
- Cost Control: Assist management in budget adherence and identify cost-saving opportunities in procurement.
- Compliance: Maintain organized purchase records and tax-compliant documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Location: Based in Kochi (Strongly Preferred).
- Availability: Ready to join immediately.
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience handling both accounts and inventory/stores (preferably in automobile, manufacturing, or EV sectors).
- Software: High proficiency in Tally ERP/Prime, MS Excel, and inventory management software.
- Skills: Commercial sourcing, finding component quotations, negotiation, and strong analytical thinking.
